1. What is TRACFONE ILD (International Long Distance)?
TRACFONE ILD makes it easy for TRACFONE Wireless customers to make international calls at the same cost as a local call: usually one unit per minute.
2. What do I need to use TRACFONE ILD?
We have good news for you! If you already own a TRACFONE and use it for regular calls, you can now dial directly from your TRACFONE to over 60 international locations including Mexico just by calling 1-800-706-3839 and following the instructions
If you don’t have a TRACFONE cell phone, what are you waiting for? We have Motorola and Nokia models from $19.99, which you can buy at www.tracfone.com or by visiting over 60,000 retailers.
3. How much does TRACFONE ILD (International Long Distance) cost?
TRACFONE ILD deducts the same amount of units from your phone as when you make a local call. In other words, you can make international calls from the United States to over 60 international destinations for the cost of a local call. This way TRACFONE Wireless lets you stay close to family and friends in other countries with the convenience of calling whenever and wherever you want.
The units will be deducted when the call is attempted. (As soon as you dial the number accessing ILD)
4. Can I make long distance calls from other cell phones or landlines?
No. The TRACFONE ILD service is only available to Tracfone Wireless customers who make their international calls directly from their TRACFONE (please refer to the list of over 60 destinations available). However, as an additional service to our customers, we do have an International Long Distance service which allows you to make calls directly from your home, office and other cell phones to anywhere in the world at competitive rates.

5. Is there an additional cost for this service?
No there is no additional cost. The same minute deductions to make a regular call will be deducted when making a long distance call using TRACFONE ILD. Note: units will be deducted from the moment you dial 800-706-3839 until you hang up, even if the international call does not get through.
6. Do I need a card or a PIN to make long distance calls for TRACFONE ILD?
No with TRACFONE ILD, there is no need to buy additional cards or use a PIN number other than from your normal TRACFONE card All you need is your access number (1-800-706-3839) and to follow the instructions to make your long distance call.

You need to dial the access number for ILD first: 1-800-706-3839. You will then be prompted to select your language and dial 011 plus the country code and number. (Note: for Canada, do not dial 011).
8. Do I have to provide my credit card?
No. With TRACFONE ILD, no contracts are required, no accounts, no credit checks and no credit card requirements. You just need units on your phone and be before your due date to make the call.

14. What is the difference between TRACFONE ILD and the International Long Distance service promoted on the Web?
The International Long Distance Service on the website is a service which allows clients to call from their homes, offices, and other cell phones to anywhere in the world with competitive rates . This requires registration of your credit card and additional charges per minute apply. There is also a separate access number. On the other hand, TRACFONE ILD, allows clients to make long distance calls to over 60 destinations for the same cost as a local call using minutes from your cell phone. If you call internationally a lot, we suggest you register your credit so you have the flexibility to call anywhere, apart from the 60 destinations available at no additional charge. Remember to separate your access numbers! If you call a destination such as Mexico City or London, which are available at no additional cost by calling 1-800-706-3839, you will not be credited if you call those same destinations using our Tracfone International Long Distance credit card based service.
15. I currently have the International Long Distance from TRACFONE. Can I change to TRACFONE ILD?
